Labeled Map of the Equestrian Wasteland by Inkwell-Pony Labeled Map of the Equestrian Wasteland by Inkwell-Pony
Here is the map, with cartography symbols in place for the locations from FoE as well as a few bonus locations. These locations reflect the FoE universe about 2 years after the Single Pegasus Project came online, but before Gardens of Equestria was activated, as a relative timeframe.

Okay besides that his map is of a fanfic is the best map I have seen so far integrated as close as possible to north america. I have tried to make Equestria like North america for some time in Arcgis (Map maker program with real coordinated date) but no avail since I could not get the shape right so bravo.

i love this map but one thing always gets me which is... how did little pip get from stable 2 to new apploosa with out going through hope or through the ever free? was hope built post sunshine and rainbows?

If it was built before sunshine and rainbows, in all likelihood, they did go through hope. But remember? Littlepip was shot by calamity to the point of being unconscious for two days, and the story skipped to her waking up obviously. so in all likelihood, they passed through Hope, Pip was just comatose.

This is a very nice looking map. But I have one question, shouldn't Hoofington be to the south of the map; it's just that, from what I understand from Project Horizon, the city is close to the border between the zebra lands and Equestria. But still, this is a really nice map, and it looks alot like the one you see in the fallout games.

I think this is based off of the canon map of Equestria.

Will there be any additional markers on the map at a later date or perhaps expanding it to include areas from places like Route 52, Caledonia, Hornsmith, Ponave Desert etc? Or will you do separate maps for other fics like The Hoof region which encompasses Hoofington and the surrounding area.

I'm planning on adding more to the map, and then probably doing closer up region maps for particular locations. Basically, I only know so much, because I've only read so many of the fanfics. If I can get more, over time, it'd be awesome.

I would recommend saving Hoofington/The Hoof map for last, given PH is longer than the original story now and the number of locations would probably fill the map of Equestria twice. I mean you've got riverside settlements, old institutes/colleges, Trading hubs, settlements like Chapel & Meatlocker, old pre-war mines like Brimstone Falls and dozens of ruins and dangerous locations pockmarking the map, like Boneyard or Hightower Prison.

I'd recommend mapping the Moohave Wasteland first as it pretty much follows a similar layout to Fallout: New Vegas with the inclusion of locations like the Casino Royale (The hotel from Dead Money, F-NV DLC.). Caledonia would also be pretty easy to map as the map is pretty well explained by Hired during her journey I believe.

I would dread trying to map out the city of Fillydelphia, from Murky Number Seven. So many locations and pre-war structures that would need to be mapped out. Route 52 should be pretty easy to map out, especially since Puppysmiles stops at every locale along the Big 52.

Seems I have A LOT of Equestrian Fallout lore to catch up on. I've managed to never hear of any of these projects.

As someone who's tried doing an FOE mapping project before, lemme remind folks that the geography simply DOES NOT mesh from one fic to another... not even amongst the "Big Four".

If I needed to complain it would be that Hoofington has been commonly noted as being "out east" from where the core Fallout Equestria story took place. The SPP project is also supposed to be scattered about the world, and not in any one single spot, so there'd be more towers dotting the landscape.

I am aware that the SPP is spread out along the world - that particular SPP is the Main Hub, where Neighvarro once was, before the SPP went live. As for Hoofington - dang, there's enough East of there already, without dropping it right into the ocean. I am considering placing it on the peninsula in the south, though, as that is where I picture the Zebra Nation is - the continent to the south. But that's just my mental thoughts on it.

Ideally, I think it should be placed at the river junction East of Cathedral/Northwest of Baltimare/Northeast of Dodge. Blackjack herself makes note of Hoofington's location as being north of the badlands. Quoting from the narrative in Chapter 14:

"On my right, the badlands stretched to the south: red rock and scrubland. To my left were the tangled weeds and dead trees around Hoofington."

Makes sense, considering that Hoofington was on the front line of the conflict, and there's a river running right through the town, like Kansas City; you have to cross a fairly long bridge to get to the Core. There's nothing to the far north on this map, save for ocean. The only way for the Zebras to invade by land would be through the peninsula, and they'd have to get through Hoofington before they could reach Canterlot or Manehattan (or Manehatten, or however it's spelled).

This is great but two questions though: 1. Where is Manehoover, the city below Manehoover, and Clousdale? 2. Where are the Enclave and Brotherhooves of Steel at?

I don't have quite as many details on the map as of yet - I wouldn't be sure where to put the Enclave and Steel Rangers at this point in the story, as of two years afterwards. I'd have to review where they were at that point. As for the Enclave, with the activation of the SPP, they did lose a lot of their over-cloud bases, so I just more or less need to figure out what to do with that.

In regards to Manehoover: Bwah? What story does that appear in?

That's awesome! Really truly awesome. I don't remember where "Hope" was though, which chapter was that?

I think the only 'potential problem' I see is New Appleloosa to Shattered Hoof (a journey that Pip, Velvet and Calamity walked in a relatively short time) seems rather too long here. I'd have maybe brought it south slightly to those mountains just below it, that would still feel appropriate enough right? I assure you, this is just a little thing, I love this map!

I guess this means in FOE that Cloudsdale is somewhere between New Appleloosa, Old Appleloosa and Dodge Junction then roughly, in that big patch of plains. That's pretty interesting.
